Important changes to prescriptions and online services from June 2026
Important Changes at Our Practice
We have three updates coming over the next few months. Please read on to find out what’s changing and what it means for you.
We are changing how we accept repeat prescription requests from 1 June 2026. This ensures all requests are processed safely and without delay. Please stop sending prescription requests by email from this date.
Online — submit your request through the online consultation tool on our website. This is the quickest way to reach us.
Nominated pharmacy — if you have a nominated pharmacy, they can request your repeat prescription directly on your behalf.
Important: From 1 June 2026 we will no longer accept prescription requests coming to practice email. Any requests sent by email will not be processed.
Exception for patients aged 80 and over: if you are unable to use online services, you may continue to request prescriptions by email. Please contact the practice if you need any help.
Parents and guardians can now request to have their NHS account linked to their child’s record. This is called proxy access and makes it easier to manage your child’s healthcare online on their behalf.
Submit a request through eConsult on our website. Please include the full name and date of birth of both the parent or guardian and the child.
Our team will review your request and set up the linked accounts. We will confirm when access has been granted.
If you have any questions, please call the practice and a member of our team will be happy to assist you.
We are switching our online consultation tool from eConsult to Accurx. This follows revised approval guidance from West and Central London Integrated Care Board (ICB). We expect this change to have minimal impact on how you contact us.
The process for submitting online requests will remain straightforward. A new Accurx link will appear on our website from July.
No action is needed before July. You do not need to register or set up an account in advance.
If you need help using the new tool, please call the practice or visit us in person and we will guide you through it.
